The International “Peace Day” is observed around the world each year on 21 September. The aim of this day is to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace. Peace is necessary for all the people of this world. We should treat all people with kindness, regardless of race, gender orientation, religion, etc. This year the slogan for the Peace Day is “Actions for Peace: Our Ambition for the global Goals”.
To convey the message of peace to our students, Wordbridge School has arranged a special assembly today in school. The students of class I to class X have started their performance with Rabindranath Tagore’s “Anondoloke Mongolaloke” and ended with Michael Jackson’s “We are the world”. The program has been ended with our honourable Vice principal’s speech.
